He also worked as a Resident in Gastroenterology & GI surgery at Kothari Medical Center, Kolkata from 2013-2017 and as a junior critical care physician during this time-span.
He has been selected as an International Member of the prestigious "American College of Physicians (FACP)" of the United States, which is a professional body for medical practitioners in USA.
He is the incumbent Honorary Secretary of Indian Medical Association (IMA) , Serampore and also a member of Research society for study of diabetes in India (RSSDI), a premier diabetes body of the country besides being a member of American Diabetes Association (ADA), the pioneering body of diabetes worldwide.
Currently, he is attached with Tamrolipto Government Medical College and Hospital, Tamluk, East Midnapore as acting In-charge for the Department of Pharmacology.
